Tonga Eruption

The plume from the January 2022 eruption in Tonga.
Air pressure waves from the eruption were strong enough to drive a tsunami ahead of the expected wavefront.
Since the eruption took place underwater, the blast put more water into the atmosphere than the more usual sulfur dioxide.
