Liquid Damping

The height of skyscrapers means that they need special precautions to counter their swaying in the wind.
One option is a liquid damper, which uses friction from water moving back and forth in the damper to dissipate energy.
Another option is a simpler sloshing tank, shown here in triplicate with different central baffles, to counter the building's motion.
