Eel-Like Swimming

The eel-like 1-guilla is a swimming robot.

By having the robot swim with different wavelengths and amplitudes, researchers can work out how these variables affect an eel's swimming.

This lets them determine that tail angle affects speed and overall wave form determines the efficiency.
